Our Founder - Shakil Ahmad Khan
Being part of a farmer’s family lived in a small village Pimpalgaon Raja near Khamgaon, Shakil Ahmad khan Born on 04/03/1952 is the elder son of Peer khan Haji Aleemullah Khan among 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He well understood at his young age that being a farmer’s son is not an easy task, family’s income is heavily weathered dependent and it doesn’t matter how hard you worked on the farm if the rain doesn’t come then all of your hard work is meaningless, so he begins to find alternative paths which can establish the family’s reputation and release it from financial prison, he saw a dream, a dream which in future sustain hundreds of people, a dream which incurved thousands of children’s future, a dream of becoming the inspiration. He started his educational journey from “Zilla Parishad School” Pimpalgaon raja mainly primary education for higher education he then shifted to Khamgaon in Anjuman high school and completed the secondary and higher secondary education from there. Shakil Ahmed khan is the only son of peer khan who completed higher education, rest of the brothers couldn’t do it and the sister’s even having the intelligence unable to sustain their educational careers.
After completing education he gets appointed as an assistant teacher in babul gaon a village of Akola district, but doing a lifetime job is not in his plan so he resigned. The decision to resign from the teaching job is not welcomed in the family, but he knows exactly what he wants and went to bhiwandi to try his fortune. After some trial and error, he Landed on the job of a manager in the factory named “Sushil loom works”, where he not only manages the factory but also doing the work of designing designated as “design master” and this is the name “Master” which stick to his sleeves for the rest of his life.
Life became easy and convenient, the convenience which he dream of is became reality but he never gets the satisfaction out of it, the same dissatisfaction dwelling on him, so once again he takes the big Decision and resigned. This time everyone sees this as the biggest mistake of his life but as always he will going to prove everyone’s wrong.
Working as a manager in “Sushil loom works” he acquires the necessary skills and experience of how to run a factory, so as he came to Pimpalgaon after leaving the manager post it became clear that the reason behind the resignation is to start his factory in Khamgaon. The mere plan became reality and soon the plant gets started by the name, J.K textile. Production line producing tons of cloth and money, people get appointed to do designated works, the brothers get involved and put the paddle on the throttle to ensure success. At that time in Khamgaon, they also bought a shop which is used to sell dress material at retail. The company which is generating revenue at large scale, the family also firm to control the textile market at retails.
But all the things which go up must come down, the present doesn’t give them hint about future, as time passes out the demand of produced material get declined and now they begin to face the struggle for the first time. The market doesn’t take the side of this family instead the situation became so tight that the profit comes to an end and J.K textile stumbling to make a profit. The next year and textile business are still struggling; he only had his hope and willpower, the hope that no matter how hard life can become something good is waiting for you and willpower to never give up.
What next you may think from teacher to manager to businessmen, how much can a person change his field to keep his dreams alive? The year 1992 came with sorrow but it became an opportunity for young-minded Shakil Ahmed khan, in that time the amount of social work he has done became a landmark, people get started seeing him as a leader and want him to lead them, several political parties approached him, but the party which gave him advantage was B.J.P. this political party made him president of minority cell Buldhana, people supported him and he became the member of garam panchayet Pimpalgaon raja. After becoming a member of garam panchayat the friendship between him and B.J.P MLC and Former Cabinet Minister Bhau Saheb Fundkar gets stronger, the bond of friendship between them becomes so much strong that even after them the reminisce of the relationship is shared by their sons between the M.L.A Akash Fundkar and the new president of raja education Khan Rahil Ahmad. Later in the year, 2014 party made him the vice president of B.J.P cell Buldhana.
Years go by and after 8 years he established the institute, the educational institute run under the society name Raja education and Bahuuddeshiya society which became the source of light for the villagers, Institute begins with a secondary school in early 2000 and start spreading the light of education since. After 8 years of establishment in 2008 raja education begins higher secondary, which is a remarkable step because, before it, children’s have to go to Khamgaon if they want to complete their higher secondary education, most of the girls couldn’t get permission even if they want to study but after 2008 they don’t have to, able to pass out while living in the village is a blessing for the girls. In 2008 they started Arts, in 2009 science and 2010 section of Marathi science of higher secondary get started; the only couple of years passed when they get the permission of primary education which fills the missing piece. Shakil Ahmad khan a farmer’s son now became the president of the society which runs a couple of educational institutions ranging from primary to secondary to higher secondary, which is a remarkable achievement.
Alas, we know no matter how good or bad you are one day you have to leave this world and that day is February 8 2020, It is a normal day for most people but it is a dark one for the family and the institution, it is the evening of that day when we get informed that this remarkable personality at the age of 68 is no more between us.
The amount of work this person accomplished takes a generation, strong background, but Shakil Ahmad does it without any of it. He is an inspirational figure for all of us, he sets an example that it doesn’t matter how much difficult a task is, doesn’t matter how hard life throwing rocks on you if you have willpower and dedication nothing is impossible. He is surely physically not presents between us, but he will always remain alive in our hearts. God grant him peace and a higher place in the heaven. Amen.
